Shyamal Roy
Shyamal Roy was born in Old Delhi in India and is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology.

Shyamal studied photography under various masters in India, Europe, and the USA and attended the Nikon School of photography.

His photo book titled “Paris-Calcutta” won him the prestigious photojournalist of the year award from the Federation of Indians in America in 2000. His work has been exhibited in San Francisco, New York, and Paris.

He is currently working on his next photo book titled "Oh Beautiful ©" that expresses an immigrant's view of America.

Shyamal Roy is single and lives in the San Francisco bay area.
